hey everyone! we're teaming up with the amazing folks over at the 3DX Discord to help spread the word about an exciting community-led charity event.

a few years ago, the 3DX Discord organized a series of successful charity projects — and now, they're bringing it back with a fresh new theme. after gathering feedback and ideas from their members, they're officially kicking off this year's project:

theme: 3dx at the movies

artists are invited to create 3dx scenes inspired by cinema — from specific genres like horror or sci-fi, to parodies of iconic films. want to take your characters behind the scenes of a fictional movie set? or show them catching a flick in a theater? the theme is totally up to your imagination — just let your characters hit the big screen in your own creative way.

project details

• release date: mid-december
• image requirement: 3–5 images per artist (minimum)
• collaboration: artists are welcome to team up on submissions
• self-promotion: artists can use their submissions to promote their own projects, titles, or upcoming content

the 3DX Discord team kept the requirements light to give artists room to work on their own personal projects while still contributing to the collab.

how to join

not a member of the 3DX Discord yet? here's how to get involved:

1. join the discord server
2. follow the instructions to receive the "artist" or "new artist" role
3. find the #collab-signup channel to join the project
4. already in the server but don't have the artist role? just check the #welcome channel for help.

giving back

as with past projects, this collab will be raising money for charity. one of our selected organizations is Intact Global, with a second charity to be announced soon. got suggestions? let us know!
