Cancellation & Refund Policy – Creator Subscriptions
Effective date: August 19, 2025
This Cancellation & Refund Policy ("Policy") governs recurring subscriptions that a user purchases to access a creator's content on Kylee.io ("Creator Subscriptions"). Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings in our Terms & Conditions.
1. How renewals work
Creator Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period (e.g., monthly, quarterly, annually) until canceled.
The renewal price, period, and benefits are shown at checkout and on your Account → Subscriptions page.
Taxes and fees may apply and are shown at checkout.
2. How to cancel
You can cancel anytime, effective at the end of your current billing period.
Self-serve (recommended):
Go to Account → Subscriptions → Manage → Cancel and follow the prompts.
You'll receive an on-screen confirmation and a confirmation email with your effective cancellation date.
Via our payment processor (e.g., CCBill):
You can also cancel through our payment processor's consumer support portal using the subscription/billing ID included on your receipt, or by contacting the support channels listed on your receipt.
The same end-of-period effective date applies.
By email:
Email support@kylee.io from the address on your account and include the creator name and subscription ID (or the last 4 digits of the card on file). We'll confirm your cancellation in a commercially reasonable timeframe.
Note: Deleting your account, removing a payment method, or uninstalling an app does not cancel a subscription. You must follow one of the cancellation methods above.
3. Access after you cancel
When you cancel, you retain access to the creator's subscriber benefits until the end of the current paid period.
After that date, your subscription terminates and access is removed.
4. Trials, promos, and upgrades/downgrades
Free trials / intro promos: Cancel before the trial/promo ends to avoid charges. If you cancel during a free trial, no charges will be made.
Upgrades: If you upgrade, the new plan may start immediately; any proration, credits, or timing will be shown at checkout and/or in your account.
Downgrades: Take effect at the next renewal unless otherwise stated.
5. Refunds
Generally non-refundable. Fees for Creator Subscriptions are non-refundable and non-prorated, including for partial periods, except as required by law or expressly stated in this Policy.
When we may issue a refund or credit (our discretion):
• documented duplicate charges;
• fraudulent or unauthorized charges (subject to investigation);
• extended, material service interruption attributable to Kylee (not creator scheduling choices or content cadence), where we may issue pro-rated credits to your Kylee balance or payment method.
Processor rules apply: Refund timing and method may be governed by our payment processor's policies.
Please contact us first: If there is a billing issue, reach out to support@kylee.io or use the processor's consumer support portal listed on your receipt. Filing a chargeback without contacting us can delay resolution and may result in account restrictions.
6. Involuntary cancellations & removals
We may cancel a subscription and/or remove access if: (a) required by law or policy; (b) there is suspected fraud, abuse, or chargeback activity; (c) a creator's account is suspended/terminated; or (d) the creator sunsets their subscription.
If Kylee permanently removes a creator's subscription offering mid-period for reasons not attributable to the subscriber (e.g., platform compliance action), we may provide a pro-rated credit to your Kylee balance at our discretion.
7. Payment failures & retries
If a renewal fails, we or our processor may attempt automatic retries during a short grace period.
If payment cannot be collected, access may be suspended until payment is successful or the subscription is canceled.
8. Currency, taxes, and pricing changes
Prices are shown in the currency presented at checkout.
Applicable taxes (e.g., VAT/GST/sales tax) are added where required by law.
We may change prices or billing periods prospectively; any changes will be shown before your next renewal and, where required, we'll provide advance notice. You can cancel before the effective date of the change.
9. Regional consumer rights (information notice)
Certain jurisdictions provide statutory withdrawal/cooling-off rights for digital services. Where required by law, we will honor those rights.
If you agree to immediate access to digital content/services that begin before the cooling-off period ends, you may lose the right to withdraw. Details vary by jurisdiction.
10. Time zone & effective timing
Unless stated otherwise, dates and times are based on Pacific Time (PT).
Cancellations are effective at the end of the current billing period as displayed on your Account → Subscriptions page and in the confirmation email.
