This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use Kylee.io (the "Service"). By using the Service, you understand that the Service contains adult content and that certain account-level protections are important for safety and compliance.

1) What This Policy Covers

This policy covers information we collect:

  • when you create an account or use the Service,
  • when you upload or interact with content,
  • when you contact support,
  • when we use cookies and similar technologies (see also our Cookie Policy).

This policy does not cover third-party websites or services you may access through links on Kylee.io.

2) Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide

  • Account information: email, username, password (stored in hashed form), profile details you choose to add (bio, avatar, links).
  • Creator / verification information (if applicable): if we require age/identity verification (KYC), you may provide government ID or verification details to a trusted third-party provider. We typically receive a verification result (e.g., "verified") and limited metadata, not necessarily your full documents.
  • User Content: content you upload (images, captions, tags, comments), and related metadata you provide.
  • Legal communications: messages you send to legal@kylee.io and any information you include.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data: IP address, device type, browser type, pages viewed, time stamps, referring URLs, and actions taken on the Service (e.g., likes, comments).
  • Log data and security signals: information used to prevent abuse, enforce rules, and secure accounts.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see the Cookie Policy for details and consent controls.

3) How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide and operate the Service: account creation, authentication, core features, content hosting, feeds, search, and personalization.
  • Moderation and safety: enforce Terms and Content Rules, review reports, prevent fraud/abuse, and comply with legal and processor requirements.
  • Improve and develop the Service: debug, analyze performance, test features, and improve usability.
  • Communications (service + marketing):
    • Service messages: important account or operational communications (password resets, security alerts, policy updates, transactional notices). You cannot opt out of these.
    • Marketing messages: product updates, announcements, and promotional communications (details in Section 6).
  • Legal compliance: respond to lawful requests, enforce agreements, and protect rights, safety, and integrity of the platform.

4) Legal Bases (Where Required)

Depending on your location, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:

  • Contract: to provide the Service you request (account, hosting, platform functions).
  • Legitimate interests: for security, fraud prevention, moderation, platform integrity, and service improvement.
  • Consent: for optional cookies/analytics and, where required, for marketing communications.
  • Legal obligation: when we must retain or share data to comply with law.

5) How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information in limited circumstances:

  • Service providers (processors): hosting, analytics (if enabled), customer support tooling, email delivery, security services, content delivery networks, and other vendors that help us run the Service.
  • Verification and payment partners (if applicable): KYC/age verification providers, payment processors, fraud prevention and compliance vendors.
  • Legal and safety: to comply with law, court orders, subpoenas, or lawful requests; to investigate abuse; to protect users, the public, or our rights.
  • Business transfers: if we're involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.

6) Marketing Communications

6.1 What you may receive

If you create an account, we may send you marketing communications such as:

  • product updates and launch announcements,
  • community highlights and platform news,
  • promotions and feature education.

6.2 Opt-out

You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by:

  • clicking "unsubscribe" in the email, or
  • updating your communication preferences (if available), or
  • contacting support@kylee.io.

6.3 Consent where required

Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before sending marketing messages, and/or provide additional choices during signup.

6.4 Service messages

Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still send non-promotional messages required to operate the Service (security, legal notices, account alerts).

7) Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality and, with consent where required, for analytics and performance measurement. For details about cookie categories and how to manage consent, see our Cookie Policy.

8) Data Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for:

  • providing the Service,
  • enforcing our Terms and Content Rules,
  • maintaining security and preventing abuse,
  • complying with legal obligations.

If you request deletion, we will delete or de-identify information where feasible, but some information may remain in backups for a limited time or be retained as required by law, for fraud prevention, or to resolve disputes.

9) Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • access your personal information,
  • correct inaccurate information,
  • request deletion,
  • object to or restrict certain processing,
  • withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent),
  • receive a portable copy of your data (where applicable).

To make a request, contact legal@kylee.io. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

10) California Privacy Notice (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights, including the right to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (as defined by California law).

We do not sell personal information. If we engage in advertising technologies that are considered "sharing" under CPRA, we will provide appropriate controls in our Cookie Policy and/or settings.

You can submit requests at legal@kylee.io.

11) International Users

Your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. These locations may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction. We use reasonable safeguards to protect data transfers where required.

12) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13) Children

Kylee.io is an adult platform and is not intended for minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided personal information, contact legal@kylee.io.
